The social ministry of Greater Wausau Christian Services is a creative and exciting story! GWCS is God’s people with a vision of care for others who are in need of compassion and hope.

YOU are a vital part of GWCS. Through the “Community of Congregations” and volunteer servants, GWCS is able to share with God’s people the vision of Christ’s compassion and hope.

Here’s how you can help partner with GWCS:

PRAY for GWCS and its various programs of ministry. VOLUNTEER as an assistant at worship services, a Bible study leader, or a visitor in the criminal justice program. SUPPORT GWCS with your financial gifts, through your regular church budget, auxiliary organizations, and individual gifts. ENCOURAGE your church to become a participatory member of GWCS. SERVE on the Board of Directors as a representative of your supporting congregation.
